INTERIOR

VENTO has so great design elements that make the boat not only a great racer but well a comfortable racer.  At first glance inside, all the teak makes the boat look like it would be a beautiful and comfortable cruiser, but make don’t let it fool you. This boat is a race horse.   

Closer examination you notice the weight in the boat is distributed centrally around the keel and the ends of the boat are kept as light as possible.  There is no spacious V-Berth filling the bow.  It’s light and clean for fast work by the sewer crew.

The stern is equally clean and light with only pipe breaths aft of the companionway. 

Amid ship you find the engine placed directly over the keel.  Fuel storage is 19 gallons mounted low and to port under the berth along with 30 gallons of water.  The Starboard berth holds an additional 30 gallons of water along with tool and engine battery storage.

Under VENTO’s new dog friendly companionway stairs you’ll find two house batteries, mounted below, and plenty of well organized storage for blocks, hardware, and winch handles.
